Commercial Architectural Design

QD Design provides commercial architectural design across Texas — space planning, building-code and occupancy analysis, life-safety and egress plans, TDLR/TAS accessibility compliance, and full construction documents — coordinated from day one with our in-house MEP engineers. That last part is the difference: your reflected ceiling plan, hood shaft, panel wall, and plumbing chase are resolved inside one office before the city ever sees the set.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you do architecture without MEP?

Yes — though most clients combine them, because one firm producing the whole permit set eliminates cross-firm coordination errors, the top cause of plan-review delays.

Can you match my franchisor’s prototype drawings?

Yes. We adapt franchisor design standards to your specific site and local jurisdiction amendments — we’ve done it for QSR, fitness, spa, and beauty brands.

Do you produce renderings?

Yes, 3D renderings and 2D shop drawings are available as add-on scope; we produced both for a Houston food-hall project used in leasing and financing.
